What counts as a node?
An enforcing node: a host whose sensor runs in enforce mode. Observe-only hosts are never billed. Log relays, cloud collectors and observe-only hosts are free. Billing counts enforcing hosts daily.
Can I self-host?
Yes, on every paid plan, at the same price: the same control plane we run (Docker Compose or Helm), including air-gapped installs with local package files and a local signing key.
What happens if I stop paying?
Hosts drop back to observe-only after a grace period: enforcement is suspended, nothing is deleted, and you get an email first. See the Terms of Service.
